Gorjuss Girl Frame and Drawing Work

Hi guys!

Today i'm goon show you how to make this Gorjuss Girl Drawing and frame, then here's what you'll need. (And yes the Gorjuss Girls are spelt like that)

  • Scissors
  • A large piece of card that's large enough to fir an a4 piece of paper on with a gap around the edge.
  • PVA glue/ Mod Podge with a bit of water in a container
  • A paint brush you don't mind covering in the glue
  • Patterned tissue paper. You can find this in any good craft store
  • An A4 piece of paper. I used a cream coloured paper but you can use white.
  • A glue stick
  • A pencil
  • Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens or ProMarker Manga pens/ any blendable pens
  • A covered surface to make this on
  1. So to start, you'll want to make sure that you have your PVA/ Mod Podge mixed with some water for easy appliance and use your paint brush to apply an even layer of glue onto the card and then put some of your tissue paper onto the glue, making sure it's straight and the right size for the card and cut off the excess tissue paper
  2. Set that aside to dry, and then start drawing your Gorjuss Girl. If you want ideas for some Gorjuss girls, the search on the internet; "Gorjuss Girls". You can copy the picture from the internet, or you can draw your own. I got mine off the internet because I didn't have enough time to draw my own.
  3. Colour it in with your pens and you can make it as detailed or simple as you'd like, just make sure you like the turnout of the picture.
  4. Make sure your tissue paper is completely dry, and then you can glue your picture down in the centre of your card with the glue stick or PVA/ Mod Podge
  5. Let all the glue dry, and then you can use some blue tack to stick it up on your wall, you could carefully wrap it up and give it as a gift, or you could put it into a glass frame to hang it up with a hook
Please be careful when using the scissors, and make sure that you watch your child if they are using the glue, or get an adult to help if you yourself are a child.

Thanks so much for reading. Remember that you can make yours personal. It could be a drawing of you or your friends and you can use your favourite tissue paper and a different coloured card. Get creative!

Sorry!

Sorry guys!
In my last post, mentioned the fact that next time I was going to be making Wax Crayon Lipbalm. But, at the moment, i don't have any coconut oil! In case you didn't know, Coconut oil is a vital part for making anything using Crayon wax. It's safe and non-toxic for the skin, so i wouldn't want to make it without it. So instead of making the lip balm, i'll be showing you how to make an origami bag to put gifts into for a birthday, or just as a nice present to give someone.

       You will need;

  • Foldable paper with equal measurements
  • Scissors (get an adult to help you if you are a child)
  • Glue, a glue stick would be better because it's not as messy as PVA
  • Ribbon for added detail
  • Flat surface to glue and cut on
  • Things to put in it later

Make sure you have all these things to help you make these bags. I will be uploading the post with all the instructions you need, very soon.

Thanks for reading and don't forget to follow this blog and comment any questions you have!

See you very soon!

Solid Perfumes- Gifts/ own use.

So recently, I have been obsessed with using soy wax, bees wax or candle wax to make my own solid perfumes. Please note that if you are a hold, make sure you have an adult helping you because there are possible burning products here.
To make this, you will need;

  • An unscented candle/ bees wax/ soy wax.
  • Olive oil/ sunflower oil
  • Fragrance oil (you can use a scented candle instead)
  • Heatable container
  • pot/ microwave
  • Spoon
  • Container to put the solid perfume in

  1. First, you need to cut the wax you are using into little pieces to make it easier to melt it
  2. Then add your olive oil/ sunflower oil and stir for a few secondsMelt in the microwave until it's just melted or do the double boiler method in a pot.
  3. While the wax is still hot, add your fragrance oils of your choice and stir until all the oils are completely combined with the wax.
  4. Get your container and CAREFULLY pour the wax into the container. Be cautious that the wax will be HOT so please watch yourself for burns.
  5. Put your container into the fridge/ freezer and leave for it to full set. Depending on how big your container is, it may take less or longer time for your wax to set.
  6. Once set, place the perfume on your pulse points to give you your amazing fragrance. Or, give as a gift to someone you think would like the fragrance
This will last about 3/4 months depending on how much you made and how much you use.
For my perfume fragrances, in order, i used Lemon and Bluebell fragrance, Orange and Bluebell, Orange, Cinnamon and Lemon and Orange and Bluebell.

If you liked this and want me to do more Wax related products, i will make a Wax page. Please comment me any questions and what fragrances you used.
Thanks for reading and i hope you enjoyed this post.
Next time... Wax Crayon Lipbalm!!
